College Basketball Game of the Week: Yale v. Alabama

Our game of the week: Yale v Alabama

This is a matchup between two of KenPoms top 20 offenses with Alabama sitting at 3rd currently and Yale at 20th. Both teams have played in March over the last few seasons and have been at the top of their conferences for a while now. Yale struggles to defend sitting currently at the 214th KenPom ranked defense but look to make up for it offensively where they are third in the country in three point percentage. Alabama played a defense ranked similarly to Yale when they played UTSA who have a defense ranked 190th. In that game they put up 97 points and won by 42. The only team Alabama has lost to at home this season was to Purdue who was ranked #1 in the preseason. This could be one of the highest scoring games of the year but we still like Alabama at home to put up close to or above 100 on this defense.
