A team that was picked to finish 11th in the SEC is off to one of the hottest starts in all of the land. Vanderbilt currently holds the 4th ranked KenPom offense with three Tylers averaging 14+ ppg and shooting better than 37% from deep. On top of that, their leading scorer Duke Miles is providing the team 16ppg and shooting 39% from range. This team scored 105 points twice to begin the year and are taking care of the ball with a turnover rate that's 2nd in the nation and assist to turnover ratio that's 4th. Even with a small sample size it's clear that this offense is capable of having huge games with multiple players able to shoot from deep. The only other team with a top 10 KenPom offense in the SEC is Alabama at the 10th ranking. This team is also ranked 43rd in terms of KenPom defense so this isn't just a one way team. With a lot of changes being made this year with numerous teams in the SEC that were contenders, could this be a season where Vanderbilt climbs towards the top of the conference?
