It's only November but we can already kind of tell which teams didn’t get into many headlines but probably should have been based on their early season play. We’ll be looking at their starts to the season, returners and KenPom to really guess which teams could make a run in March.

Missouri - a team that has a KenPom ranked offense of 11th and coming off of a season where they were upset in the first round of the tournament. They return All-SEC Second Team star Mark Mitchell who helped this team finish last season with a KenPom offense that was ranked 8th. They’re off to an undefeated start and look to go past the first round and potentially into a few weekends come March.

Vanderbilt - this team currently has the 5th ranked KenPom offense with almost 7 players averaging 10ppg or higher. Their offense is currently ranked higher than UConn, Alabama and Gonzaga. They were picked to finish 11th in the SEC preseason poll and look to be much better than that prediction. Their leading scorer is shooting over 50% from three and all three of their top leading scorers above 40%.

N.C. State. - a program that was in the Final Four recently has a KenPom ranked offense of 16th with a defense ranked 32nd. They have Darrion Williams, a player who helped lead Texas Tech to a top 5 KenPom ranked offense and run to the Elite 8 and also Tre Holloman who helped Michigan State to an Elite 8 run with a top 5 KenPom ranked defense. This could be huge for this team come March.

Iowa - they rank 15th in terms of KenPom offense led by star Bennett Stirtz who comes off of a year where he led his previous team Drake to a March Madness win. They also added Tavion Banks, the Missouri Valley Sixth Man of the Year and numerous other players from their tournament team Drake.
